Laurus Professional is looking for an Administrative Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys interacting with people. A successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Responsible for answering incoming calls, taking accurate messages, and routing calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Greet visitors upon arrival and extend hospitality to ensure a positive experience
  • Provide general administrative support such as preparing and tracking business correspondence, completion of electronic paper forms, generating reports and processing confidential documents
  • Responsible for filing and scanning
  • Responsible for calendar management including conducting appointment reminder calls and preparing agenda and required forms for meetings
  • Assist team members with workflow related tasks
  • Additional tasks as needed

Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience in a professional office
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills for promptly handling sensitive and confidential situations
  • Effective communication and positive demeanor at all times when dealing with staff and visitors
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize a diverse workload and multi-task
  • Strong work ethic, team player and high degree of professionalism
