Director of Facilities, Continuing Care Retirement Community
Laurus Healthcare is representing a highly regarded senior living organization in their search for a Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities will oversee the maintenance/plant operations department, environmental services, transportation and concierge for this 5 Star Continuing Care Retirement Community. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will manage the operating budget and all policies/procedures in compliance with DOH regulations, OSHA, Life Safety and EPA regulations. The Director will provide leadership to team members and will provide all department employees with the necessary skills to support residents and families.
A minimum of five years of maintenance or environmental services experience in a senior living organization required. Experience in a Life Care or Continuing Care Retirement Community required.
HS Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree or commensurate certifications desired.
Proven knowledge of facility maintenance work including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC required.
A Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management experience with an understanding of NFPA, EPA, OSHA as well as federal, state and local life safety regulations.
Strong communication skills and customer service skills required.
