Laurus is looking for a smart, personable, and ambitious Senior Account Manager to join our organization. We have been a staffing leader in the Philadelphia area for over 13 years and are looking to establish new partnerships across the region. As a Senior Account Manager you will help promote our organization’s staffing solutions to clients throughout the area, manage existing relationships, and partner with our recruitment delivery team. This is a great opportunity to not only develop business but to manage all aspects of the relationship. The ideal candidate is someone with some industry experience that is looking to grow their career and who has aspirations of developing into a leader within our organization.

Role and Responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager:

  • Develop and implement a strategy for identifying potential clients and candidates
  • Use networking, social media and all other available methods to develop new leads and cultivate relationships with prospective clients
  • Utilize knowledge and resourcefulness to solve problems
  • Participate in business networking events to establish new contacts and learn about local industry news and opportunities
  • Independently generate leads, make cold calls, and set meetings to establish new business
  • Develop new business relationships and maintain existing client relationships
  • Work with clients to:
    • Understand their corporate culture
    • Develop and cultivate a business relationship
    • Understand and interpret client requirements
    • Solicit and obtain job orders

Job Requirements of the Senior Account Manager:

  • Honest, reliable, and ethical!
  • At least 2 years of experience in a staffing sales role or sales support role
  • An understanding of current trends and developments in the field of recruiting
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Outstanding listening and persuasive skills, and the ability to overcome objections
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Acute organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong technology skills
