Laurus Accounting & Finance is seeking a Tax Manager for a diverse privately held services company in Philadelphia. This individual will join an international organization that has a long track record of success.
The Tax Manager will report into the Head of Tax and perform many of the tax functions, including compliance and review for federal, state and local tax returns for multiple entities, tax research, preparation of provisions and Canadian returns, maintain the department’s tax calendar and manage a small staff of tax professionals.
Requirements of the Tax Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation required; Master’s Degree preferred
- CPA is required
- Strong partnership and S-corp tax experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant tax experience plus a minimum of 2 years of staff management
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance functions
