Laurus Accounting & Finance is seeking an experienced Tax Manager. This individual will work with individuals within Audit & Accounting, Tax Strategies, Human Capital Resources, and Technology Solutions. He/she will be expected to comply with regulations, requirements, and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 8 years of experience in tax. Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:

  • Coordinate all tax projects with all clients, ensuring prompt service and delivery
  • Perform timely and accurate review of client’s tax returns
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Review of tax provisions and engagements
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements of the Tax Manager:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other business related field, Masters’ Degree is strongly preferred
  • CPA is required
  • 8-10 years of tax experience within public accounting
  • Knowledge of Internal Revenue Code & Regulations
  • Knowledge of tax codes, regulations and guidelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with a tax software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Well organized and strong attention to detail
  • A team player, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Great leadership skills
